Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical degree
Skills:
3+ experience hands on in a testing team at a Microsoft development environment
• Strong knowledge in RDBMS and understanding SQL scripts
• Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills
• Clarity and precision in verbal and written communication
Desired Skills
• Should have worked on automated testing tools as Selenium, QTP or Silk
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks
Duties
• Design and develop test plans, test cases based upon functional and design specifications
• Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load and system testing
• Responsible for the overall success of testing. Manages assigned projects from IT Quality Testing through final User Acceptance Testing
• Performs black box testing.
• Assures the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important defects by working with developers to ensure the software development process has an appropriate level of testing
• Work closely with the development team to analyze, debug and resolve any issues
• Participate in product functional reviews, test specifications, documentation review
• Development of a common suite of automated test cases for a product line
