We need a
replacement resource for Test Automation (QTP Development – expert
level) for Tullett project. I have elaborated the details below.
Please let know if there are any further action or details that are needed from my side.
Experience level: 3-4 yrs in testing (at least 2+ years in Automation / QTP)
Key Skills: Hands on experience on QTP for designing frameworks and developing test scripts
Good aptitude and technical acumen to understand and debug the existing suite
Good testing concepts and fundamentals
Preferred: Exposure to develop test scripts on desktop (Java) based product / application, other than web based applications
Experience of working on project / product in the financial services domain
Soft Skills: Go getter and self motivated – keen to be a change agent and suggest technical improvement/ solutions
Communication skills would be a plus
1. Candidate should have hands down experience of script development and not just script execution
2. Strong in writing test cases (VBScript) in QTP – “Record and Play” methodology of developing test scripts will NOT help.
3. Exposure to descriptive programming is a plus
4. Knowledge and working experience on any QTP framework. Development or usage of custom framework would be even better.
5. Candidate should have recent experience on QTP, as they tend to lose touch on the recent features
